UK Gypsy Jazz Band Hire – Available For All Types Of Events, Weddings And Functions

Now with 2017 well under way, we can offer a range of musical entertainment to compliment any type of event. Already taking bookings right into 2018, there has never been a better time to consider the options from one of the top providers of Gypsy jazz  music in the UK.

Since the JONNY HEPBIR TRIO and the JONNY HEPBIR QUARTET made their YouTube video debut back in 2010, the band have gone from strength to strength. Arguably one of the top viewed Gypsy jazz groups in the world on YouTube, the band have notched up well over 4 million views and over 13 thousand subscribers.

The band specialise in providing the best in hot jazz musical entertainment for all manner of events. Able to cater for any size crowd from the intimate (private party for Roman Abramovich at the Ritz Hotel in London, 8 people) to the large (Love Supreme Festival in Sussex, thousands) and everything in between. No strangers to travel, the group have played all over the UK and abroad.

With a number of line-up options to suit all types of functions, private and public, there is something for everyone, with the same high standard of musicianship and professionalism that has made the band so popular.

Band leader and guitarist, JONNY HEPBIR is available to hire solo, a favourite with many wedding clients who want something less up-front during receptions, wedding breakfasts but still with that same swinging sound. Also good for any event where a single guitarist is needed to create an atmosphere. Please click HERE to read more or click on the link below to see Jonny’s solo video.

Next line-up, another popular choice, the JONNY HEPBIR DUO. This can be the classic two guitars, Gypsy jazz style or guitar and double bass. It is also possible to hire Jonny with either accordion, violin or sax/clarinet as the second instrument. Please click HERE to read more.

The core element of the band line-ups is still the JONNY HEPBIR TRIO. Traditional, full-sounding Gypsy swing a la Django Reinhardt, two guitars and double bass. Still the most popular outfit for many of our clients. Wonderfully compact if there are area restrictions at the venue. Please click HERE to read more.

For those that favour female vocals with their swing, look no further than the JONNY HEPBIR QUARTET. The Jonny Hepbir Quartet was a firm favourite with Sir Paul McCartney. He booked the band for his Christmas party in 2011. Please click HERE to read more.

Another top band line-up is the JONNY HEPBIR INSTRUMENTAL QUARTET. Again, the Trio but with either accordion, violin or sax/clarinet as the fourth instrument. More hot swing with some of the country’s top musicians.

Finally we have the big band, the JONNY HEPBIR QUINTET, the Jonny Hepbir Quartet (vocals) with either accordion, violin or sax/clarinet as the fifth instrument. The other Quintet line-up can be the Jonny Hepbir Trio with 2 instrument choices from our accordion, violin, sax/clarinet options. Please click HERE to read more.

Here is a video from our very first session on YouTube, our groovy version of ‘Besame Mucho’.

The JONNY HEPBIR TRIO are available to hire for weddings, private parties, corporate functions and public events throughout the UK and abroad.

Their enviable client list includes the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Terence Conran, Roman Abramovich and Kool & The Gang and they have played at venues and events from The Ritz to Morocco. Click HERE to read letters from past clients.
