I had an enjoyable Wedding booking recently at Albion House. It was great to be back at this stylish venue overlooking Ramsgate Royal Harbour.
The weather was thankfully good all day which only added to the celebration. The happy couple, Hannah and Simon had seen me perform here last year during one of the Albion House jazz nights and got in touch to see if I was available for their big day.
I played a couple of sets before the ceremony and also a couple of tunes as the Bride came in and when they signed the documents.
It's warming to know that Swing Jazz guitar is as popular now as it's ever been.

This Bank Holiday Weekend I've got a couple of Public gigs in Kent.
The first is this coming Saturday 25th May for Chatham Maritime Food & Drink Festival 2024.
This is the second year I've been asked to play at this popular Event. There are literally thousands of people in attendance over the three days and this year looks to be the same.
I'll be kicking off at 3pm so why not pop on down and enjoy a beer while I bring the Swing!
On Sunday 26th May from 4pm I'm back for my residency at the fabulous Fez in Margate High Street.
Located 2 minutes from Margate main sands, this quirky bar offers a wide range of thirst-quenching delights and of course, me playing authentic, Django-style Swing Guitar!
