One of the highlights this Summer was journeying to Paris, the capital of love and spiritual home to Gypsy jazz, in France. The occasion was a corporate 'informal' garden party hosted by luxury events brand Morla Creation for international shoe company Sabah. The band they wanted was the JONNY HEPBIR INSTRUMENTAL GYPSY JAZZ QUARTET with clarinet and saxophone.
It was an amazing day, not just for the stunning weather but also for the stunning location for this #corporate event. The Jardin du Palais-Royal is a gorgeous public space and combined with the sound of hot swinging jazz, food and drink at made for a perfect day.
We played acoustically under the shade of the trees on a scorching Dimanche. It was great meeting many cool people and passers by who stopped to hang out, listened, dance and pick up on the community vibe.
The invited guests to the picnic were of some of the young Parisian cool set. Actors, models and the super-trendy came down to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the hospitality and music.
