THE JONNY HEPBIR QUARTET at Nighthawks Festival in Buckinghamshire.
A small clip of 'Take The 'A' Train' by Duke Ellington & Billy Strayhorn.
Here's the band finishing our set for all the lovely dancers at this great Swing Dance Festival. This was our first time performing here and it was really heart-warming to get such a fabulous response from dancers and audience alike.
The Nighthawks folks really do know how to look after their Artists. Here's a pic of the their amusingly excellent vouchers everyone received.
We've been performing the song for many years now and often end our sets with it, great for a dance jam!
If you haven't seen it, here's the Quartet's first version from almost fourteen years ago, notching up a respectful 684k views so far.

PUBLIC GIGS
Last weekend I had a couple of fab Solo gigs in Kent. The first was for Revelation and Create Music Village in Ashford.
Amazingly the weather was in Summer-mode for the day and super warm for everyone that played.
I've got a couple of special Solo shows coming up in Ashford in October, more on that another time.
I also performed at the opening of Sandwich Arts Week at St. Mary's Arts Centre in the town.
Surrounded by lots of locally produced Art, I kept the atmosphere jaunty and even the Mayor dug a bit of Django-Reinhardt inspired Swing Guitar.
Bizarrely, a couple of days before I played, German-guitar ace and great grand-nephew of Django, Lulo Reinhardt was playing here.
This coming Sunday 22nd September from 4pm, you can catch me playing my bi-monthly residency at Fez Margate. Located at 40 High St in Margate, Kent.
It's always good vibes when I play here, if you're in town pop on down!
