Gypsy Jazz band in full swing for guests at Corporate presentation in London.
One of the JONNY HEPBIR TRIO line-ups that has grown in popularity with clients over the past year is our Parisian-style violin, guitar and double bass combo, perfect for French themed events.
Recently we had an unusual #Trio booking for the opening/presentation of a snazzy new house in Primrose Hill #London, designed by our architect client Tom.
Eglon House was inspired by the iconic Maison de Verre in #Paris built during the influential Art Deco era. Added features included a swimming pool with rising mechanical floor!
The Trio’s task was to re-create the sounds of #swing #jazz in the style of the revered Hot Club de France which of course featured #StephaneGrappelli on violin and #DjangoReinhardt on guitar. We had a great time playing some of those great tunes in this fabulous building while invitees munched and glugged top nibbles and tipples.

The classic original pictures of Maison de Verre were taken by photographer Michael Carapetian in the 1960’s, so our client decided to fly him in to give a small talk on both buildings. The house also comes with pictures taken by Mr Carapetian.
The price was a bit of an eye-waterer but just think of the banging parties you could have!
