The JONNY HEPBIR GYPSY JAZZ TRIO in action at a Corporate Event near Barbican, London recently.
We had a great time playing for a client's office party celebrating a successful business year. Lots of Champagne, great cuisine and lashings of Django Reinhardt style Swing Guitar helped the afternoon go with a bang!
During our sets, we even gathered a crowd behind us at various times. It just goes to show the broad appeal and popularity of Gypsy Jazz.
Last week I had the pleasure of being the guest soloist for the Taunton-based group, the Sephora Quartet.
We had a low-key warm up gig the night before which prepared us for our concert the next day at the hip Creative Innovation Centre.
We played to a capacity audience and had a brilliant time playing for everyone!
The concert and warm up gig were organised by ryhthm guitarist and band boss, David Lunniss. With fantastic musicians Gina Griffin on violin and Ron Phelan on 5-string double bass, it was inevitable listeners were treated to something special.

This Sunday 4th August from 3pm, I'll be with Loulou Swing at The Red Lion, Crockham Lane in Hernhill, near Faversham in Kent.
