We are very proud to release the first of our run of videos featuring the JONNY HEPBIR TRIO, filmed live and on location in the very hip and groovy town of #Margate in #Kent. Trying to pick a good location is always difficult, with so many factors involved. The other element of danger is that we play live and don’t mime to a playback track, which is often the safer option for some groups out there, so you have to get it right.
We were very happy for this particular shoot, to have Dan Redding take care of filming, sound recording, editing and video styling. Dan is a master craftsman with an enviable track record of excellently produced products at industry standard. We can’t praise him enough for the results, with an eye and ear for attention to detail like a boss craftsman.
The venue of choice was the amazing micropub, Fez, in the cool east coast town of Margate. Definitely a challenge to film in a relatively small setting with an awful lot going on visually in the background. Dan used everything to his advantage and we’re very happy with the results.

All in all, a great day topped of with a hi-energy gig at Fez in the evening to showcase the new material and say thanks to Phil for letting us take over his bar for the whole day!
