Another great event with swinging Gypsy jazz to get the party started
We often get bookings from clients where we’ve played at their chosen venue a few times in the past. Recently we had the pleasure of making the trip to South Farm in Cambridgeshire, the first time we’d been back for a few years.
South Farm is a quintessential English venue, especially in the Summer. Set in the small village of Shingay cum Wendy, it’s picturesque beauty is at it’s most radiant during the Summer months.
Our clients Paul and Karen were dead set on having the JONNY HEPBIR QUARTET providing the perfect musical backdrop for their #wedding reception and wedding breakfast.
Here we are under the shade of a big tree.
Our groom Paul is a fine guitarist and multi-instrumentalist in his own right, he even had a few SKYPE GYPSY JAZZ LESSONS with me a couple of years back. So we were really happy that he and Karen opted for the Quartet for their special day.
South Farm even have some magnificent Romany Caravans in their gardens to compliment the music!
All in all a great day for everyone, it was so hot that afternoon.
Thank you to Sarah the organiser at South Farm for looking after us and making sure the ice-cold water was in steady supply.
Here’s our take on the classic ‘Meglio Stasera’ by Henry Mancini from the original Pink Panther film, always a hit with our Wedding clients.
